There is no better feeling then spending your summer vacation in a brand new constructed home! We have two new homes/cabins currently under construction slated to be completed by Memorial Day 2010.

That’s right! We have created Concan’s very own trolley service beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Daily - 10am to 6pm

The trolley is a safe & easy way to shuttle you, your family and friends back & forth to all the river access points WITHOUT taking your vehicles & paying for river access parking. Our trolley is modeled a-er a late 1930’s & early 1940’s woody wagon but even more fun! It’s open air design provides seating for 28, their tubes, kayaks, coolers & kids. It is a fantastic way to get around Concan. Imagine hopping the trolley at 7 Bluff - floating down to the 2nd crossing then take it back to where you started & do it all over again!

The trolley stops will be: On Rt/127 - Buchanan Tube rentals at the first crossing; Neals, Andys. Along river Rd. CR 348: Fire Station Stop, Casa Floerke; on the east side of the 2nd crossing past the Frio Country Store, Cypress Bend Entrance #2; in front of the Horse Pasture Restraunt, the 3rd crossing at 7 Bluffs & at the 7 Bluffs country store. The trip takes about 30-minutes but WHO CARES! Its realy fun! The trolley fares are:

$5.00/adults 18 & up
$2.00/chldren 6-17
FREE for children 5 & under

Colored waterproof wrist bands are handed out to every passenger & you can hop on the trolley & ride it all day long for that one low price! It is also available for private parties, special events or fun night time rides upon request. Just call 830-232-5721 for a-er hours rental fees.

Frio Fun consists of many companies - one of them, Frio Services Company - recently changed to Frio Fun Operations, LLC, was awarded on August 13th, 2009 the highly regarded 2009 Best of Concan award in dwelling Operators category evaluated by the U.S. Commerce Association. 

We honestly had no idea what-so-ever we were being evaluated but truly appreciate this award. All of the staff at Frio fun work had each day of the year to make sure you and your family and their families have the very best vacation year after year.

The entire Frio Fun office has been  integrated into the Frio Fun Provision Co. 2010 plans call for further development of the country store, interior and exterior build-out.

THE FRIO FUN PROVISION CO. is a brand new country store featuring unique gift items and things you need to make your stay more fun and enjoyable.

With our “just call us and order charcoal, charcoal starter, ice, or tubes”, our friendly staff will quote you the competitive prices and deliver your items to your home or cabin before you arrive illumining the need to either bring these items or get them the next morning. After you settle in, come by and shop the Provision Co. for some of these fun must-have items

Because of the consistent hot, dry weather our river was at an all time low. This however did not deter too many of the Frio Fun loyalists that still got away from the daily grind to spend their 3-day vacation here under the stars and finding some pockets of cool water to lounge away the hours. In act, we saw a sharp jump in the rentals of our homes that have pools and hot tubs so we wanted to invite you to reserve early those properties that have these highly desired water features.
